When should I utilise Business Kitz?
Business Kitz’s rich feature set will continue to grow alongside your business needs, with features like e-signing and document storage coming soon.
Is product support included?
Business Kitz provides free product support for our subscribers who have any questions about how to utilise your Business Kitz subscription – for example, “how to find a document” or “how to log into the portal”. Business Kitz subscribers can access product support by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or giving our team a call at 1300 988 954.
If you have any technical questions about any issues with your product, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist. If you need support beyond product support that pertains to legal support, you can book a free consultation with Legal Kitz here. All Business Kitz subscribers will receive 5% off all Legal Kitz bills, which makes seeking assistance from a lawyer much more cost-effective.
Does Business Kitz provide onsite setup assistance?
Business Kitz’s product does not require any on-site setup as it is a digital product and can be accessed via our website. Where a business would like assistance in completing documentation for their employees or other HR support, Business Kitz subscribers can purchase our Add-ons.
These provide our subscribers with training on how to utilise the templates for the HR systems which may be available onsite. For example, our experienced HR consultants may come onsite to assist with setting up these templates, completing documentation to be implemented within the business, or training on how to call the Fair Work Ombudsman.

This is support in finding the relevant Awards and levels, providing underperformance support and other HR requirements.

Do I get an account manager?
No, at this stage you will not require an account manager to utilise the Business Kitz platform. If you have any questions about your account or the product, you can contact our friendly team who can assist you on 1300 988 954 or email@example.com.
Do I have to work with a Lawyer to use Business Kitz?
You don’t need a lawyer or HR manager to utilise Business Kitz. Business Kitz allows businesses to manage their business, legal and HR matters autonomously without heavy reliance on lawyers and HR professionals.
Where you require legal assistance for a dispute or other legal matter, you can book a free consultation with the trusted team at Legal Kitz, our sister law firm. All Business Kitz subscribers will receive 5% off all Legal Kitz bills, which makes seeking assistance from a lawyer much more cost-effective.

How do I subscribe if I decide that Business Kitz is right for me?
How do I cancel Business Kitz if I decide it isn’t right for me?
The minimum term for Business Kitz subscription is 24 months. If you wish to cancel early, a cancellation fee may apply as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
You can discuss subscription cancellations by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 1300 988 954. Please carefully read and consider our Terms and Conditions prior to requesting cancellation.
Is there a minimum subscription period?
Can I pay the subscription annually?
Generally no, your subscription will be billed monthly. For enterprise clients, we may allow for flexibility with billing periods.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or switch plans at any time?
Once you have confirmed the number of users you have, you will not be able to adjust this until renewal. If you have any further questions, contact our team on email@example.com or call 1300 988 954.
Can I add multiple companies to Business Kitz?
To have multiple companies, you will need to create separate accounts for each business to ensure that the data is separated. In the future, we may implement a toggle feature where you can toggle between your businesses. At this stage of our product, you will need to create a separate account.
Discounts for not-for-profits
We do not provide discounts for not-for-profit organisations. If you wish to discuss this further with our team, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1300 988 954.
Does Business Kitz only cover Australia, or are they applicable to other countries?
Currently, Business Kitz subscription is only available in Australia and all the templates are drafted for the Australian jurisdiction. We will be opening our product to other local jurisdictions very soon.
Are the documents suitable for any state in Australia?
Yes, all of our document templates are customisable to suit the legislation applicable to your State. Some documents, such as our HR forms and documents, are governed by Commonwealth legislation and therefore apply to all States.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Do you offer face-to-face consultations?
As our company has multiple office locations, we prefer to consult with our clients via Google Meet or phone call. However, we may conduct onsite consultations upon request.
What documents are included under the subscription?
Every subscriber gains access to every document that is available on the website. This includes every base document you need to run your Australian business and HR systems. You can search through our templates here.
Are there any guides to help me with choosing templates?
Our 200+ templates are categorised into product types (Contracts, Policies, Business, Employment, Forms and Documents, and Bundles) to help you choose the right documents for your business. You can review our document categories here.

Can I fill out Business Kitz forms on my Macbook or other Apple computer?
Yes, our website is accessible on all Apple computer devices.
Can I use Business Kitz via mobile?
Yes, our webpage is accessible via all iOS and Android devices.
What happens if I go out of business?
How customisable are the document templates?
Our templates prompt you to edit the personal and business details relevant to your company in the yellow highlight and via the blue guidance notes. We do not recommend that you adjust the clauses unless you have sought legal advice.
How much does Business Kitz cost?
Business Kitz’s subscription costs $14 + GST per user per month which includes the following:

Are there any additional services available?
Yes, Business Kitz provides cost-effective Add-on packages to receive HR advice and training on how to utilise our HR documents. For example, we can take you through the entire Human resource library and show you how to use the documents, or train you on how to call the Fair Work Ombudsman.

What happens if I no longer have any employees? Is the contract cancelled?
Upon purchasing a Business Kitz subscription, you are agreeing to a 24-month term that cannot be automatically cancelled. Business Kitz’s subscription is very useful for businesses without employees as well. If you have changes in your staff numbers or business circumstances, you can contact our support team at 1300 988 954 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and our team will talk through your options.
Does Business Kitz replace lawyers and legal advice?
Business Kitz significantly decreases the need for lawyers in order to access the high-quality contracts, forms and documents which are required to meet Australian standards and remain compliant with Fair Work. Lawyers would typically charge $1,000 – $5,000 per contract to their clients, even though most base documentation required to run an Australian business is standard.
Business Kitz has identified this and wants to fill the gap for high-quality and affordable template documents.
Lawyers and legal advice are recommended in scenarios where a dispute has arisen or in circumstances where documents require customisation or are very unique to your business, i.e. terms and conditions for the use of your specific products. This is why we opened Legal Kitz, our sister law firm, that can aid clients where they need extra legal support that Business Kitz cannot provide.

If I have a lawyer already, why do I need to use Business Kitz?
You may have a lawyer that advises you on commercial or employment matters for the success of your business. You can still utilise Business Kitz to gain access to the documentation that you require for your business. Business Kitz is significantly cheaper than having the same documents drafted by your lawyer.
Can I pay for my full subscription upfront?
Generally no, Business Kitz is a monthly subscription billed monthly.

If I can’t find a document, what should I do?
1. Make sure you have utilised the categories and the search bar to type in the keywords of the product you are looking for.

Where do I log in?
1. You can log into your account by searching www.businesskitz.com.au in your browser.
2. Once you have reached our website, on the top right-hand corner of your screen you should see a button that says ‘Login’.
3. You will then be redirected to a page where you can fill out your credentials and access your account.
4. If you have lost your password, you can click the text that says ‘Lost your password?’ and follow the instructions to reset your password.

What if I want to change my billing information?
You can change your billing information by updating the “Payment method” section of your account.

Can I make a complaint to Business Kitz?
Business Kitz prides itself on taking feedback from its customers and implementing it so that our product and business can continue to improve.

Where is my data held?
We utilise third-party data hosting provider Amazon Web Services with its servers located in the USA to host our platform.
Can I export my data from Business Kitz?
Yes, you can download your data from Business Kitz at any time during your subscription.
What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?
You will have an opportunity to download your data prior to your subscription ending. If you cancel your subscription, the data in your account will be saved and archived by Business Kitz in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Once your subscription has ended you will no longer be able to access your data and it will be securely and privately stored on our system. If you want to access your data, you will either need to re-activate your account or contact our team.
We note that admin fees may apply where our team has to retrieve data. If you cancel your subscription during a free trial, you will not be able to reactivate your account and therefore you should download your data prior to cancellation.
Will I receive marketing emails from Business Kitz?
Business Kitz will send you marketing emails from time to time offering the public and its existing customers special offers and information that may benefit your business or save you money.
You may opt out of these emails if you wish, by following the instructions set out in each email. If you have any further issues with this, please email our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org
